Le festival historique de Roquebrune dévoile son cru 2026

L’AGENDA : Mathieu Madénian et danse contemporaine au sommet du château

C’est l’un des plus vieux festivals de théâtre de France. La 51e édition du mythique festival de Roquebrune-Cap-Martin vous attend pour une série de rendez-vous en plein air. La quasi-totalité de la programmation se joue dès 19h30 dans le décor historique et grandiose du château médiéval, offrant une vue absolument imprenable sur la mer Méditerranée. Après une courte pause, l’événement rouvre ses portes demain pour une nouveauté : un spectacle captivant de danse contemporaine baptisé Sada, suivi mercredi par les chorégraphies modernes de la classe de formation professionnelle du Millenium Dance Center. 🏰🩰

Le point d’orgue très attendu de cette édition 2026 se tiendra ce vendredi. Pour l’occasion, le festival déménagera exceptionnellement au Parc des Oliviers à 21h afin d’accueillir sa grande tête d’affiche, l’humoriste Mathieu Madénian. Il y présentera son tout nouveau seul-en-scène percutant, À pleurer de rire, où il raconte avec un humour décapant son quotidien de jeune papa et comment l’arrivée tardive de son premier enfant a bouleversé ses certitudes. Comptez 15 € pour les soirées au château et 37 € pour applaudir Madénian sous les oliviers, avec des réservations déjà ouvertes auprès de l’Office de Tourisme. 🌳🎙️

It stands proud as one of the oldest theater festivals in France. The 51st edition of the legendary Roquebrune-Cap-Martin festival awaits you for an incredible series of open-air performances. The vast majority of the shows kick off at 7:30 PM within the historic surroundings of the medieval castle, offering a breathtaking, panoramic view over the Mediterranean Sea. Following a brief intermission, the event reopens tomorrow with an exciting new addition: a contemporary dance piece titled Sada, followed on Wednesday by modern routines from the Millenium Dance Center pro training class. 🏰🩰

The highly anticipated highlight of this 2026 season will take place this Friday night. For this special occasion, the festival will exceptionally relocate to the Parc des Oliviers at 9:00 PM to welcome its massive headliner, French comedian Mathieu Madénian. He will perform his brand-new solo show, À pleurer de rire, where he humorously shares his chaotic daily life as a new dad and how the late arrival of his first child completely shattered all his certainties. Tickets are priced at €15 for the castle nights and €37 for Madénian’s headline show, with bookings available now through the Tourist Office. 🌳🎙️
